Program/Service Description:
Nicolet Terrace is a federally subsidized housing complex for people who are age 62 or older, or disabled/handicapped. Rent is 30 percent of adjusted gross income. Income limitations apply to the monthly rent. Security deposit is $300. Exterior doors are secured, emergency pull cord in the apartments, and laundry facilities available. There are 85 elderly units of which 4 are wheelchair accessible. Also have 15 scattered site family units. There is a community room with a wide screen tv and DVD player, three computers for resident use, periodic live entertainment, weekly Catholic mass on Saturday and monthly nondenominational service. Pets allowed with a $350 deposit and there is a smoking area.
