Program/Service Description:
Prenatal care involves two programs. First, prenatal care coordination which is designed to help pregnant, low income women in getting the prenatal information, care and services that they need for a healthy pregnancy. Case management is provided to pregnant women on Medicaid/BadgerCare, who meet established guidelines. Second, presumptive eligibility program which is a free temporary card for outpatient prenatal care given to uninsured or underinsured women until they are able to get through the Brown County Human Service's application process.
