Program/Service Description:
The City of Green Bay Redevelopment Authority (RDA) offers home loans for low to moderate income property owners located in the CDBG target area. The Home Improvement Loan Program (HILP) is for owner occupied properties only. The program is designed for home repair and to improve the quality of the housing stock in the city as well as have a positive effect in the CDBG Target Area. The applicant must meet the Federal income guidelines, own and have occupied a home for at least one year, reside in the CDBG Target Area, maintain the home to housing code standards, and be a single family structure. Loan amounts range from $2,000 to $25,000. The city staff will meet with you in your home to discuss eligibility requirements.
