Program/Service Description:
W-2 provides a wide range of employment assistance services and training to help Wisconsin residents find and keep employment. W-2 also provides work experience positions through community service jobs, and other work-readiness placements. Employment programs include: trial jobs are available if you need extra help in finding a job; community service jobs are available if you need some additional work experience to help you prepare you for employment; W-2 transitions may be available if you have additional problems that prevent you from being in a community service job or trial job; case management which helps you stay employed and/or get additional skills to get a job with increased hours, pay and benefits. There are also family support services such as the Food Share Employment and Training Program which assists people who have Food Share to find work through education, training and work activities, financial assistance if facing a current emergency such as fire, flood, natural disaster, energy crisis, if a person is homeless or there is impending homelessness.
