Program/Service Description:
Fort Howard is a Federally subsidized housing unit. There are 96 units; 5 are wheelchair accessible with roll-in showers. Must be 62 or older and meet income eligibility. The income guidelines are as follows: one person, very low income--$22,600; two person, very low income--$28,850. Rent is 30 percent of adjusted gross income. There are onsite programs and daily events. Nurse practitioner monthly. Doors are secured. Pull cords are available in the apartments. Laundry facilities are available. Security deposit is one month's rent. Congregate meals are served on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only. Reservations are required for this noon meal.
