Program/Service Description:
The Eldercare Locator gives you access to an extensive network of organizations serving older people at state and local community levels. Information and assistance on services include: home delivered meals, transportation, legal assistance, housing options, recreation and social activities, adult day care, senior center programs, home health services and others. The following information will be needed when you call: the name and address of the older person you are calling for; a brief and general description of the problem or type of assistance you are seeking. The Eldercare Locator will provide you with telephone numbers of the appropriate state or local agencies.
