Program/Service Description:
This program is available for persons age 18-59 years of age. It provides assistance regarding eligibility, services or other Family Care and Family Care Partnership concerns. Services include: investigating complaints, resolving and mediating issues, providing information and education on consumer rights, assisting in negotiating care plans, appealing denials of services or changes in services that clients don't agree with, and working with enforcement and regulatory agencies. Staff is available in the Milwaukee, Madison and Rice Lake offices to advocate for participants in any Wisconsin Family Care county. The staff will also help with developing a care plan that supports goals, reducing services, employment, living arrangements and young adults moving from school to adulthood and enrolling in Family Care or Partnership.
