Program/Service Description:
The DVR provides services to individuals with a developmental disability or physical disability and to employers ready to hire qualified disabled people. Those with more severe functional limitations will be served first before those with less severe limitations. An evaluation of a person's mobility, communication, self care, self direction, interpersonal skills, work history and work tolerance are taken into consideration. DVR offers employment assistance through guidance, finding and keeping a job, assistive technology and training. Other services coordinated through public or private agencies may require you to share your financial situation.
