Program/Service Description:
The Department provides mandatory Child Protective Services and Juvenile court Services. Child Protection Intake investigates reports of alleged child maltreatment. If additional services are needed, referrals are made to Child Protection Disposition or other community resources. Child Protection Disposition and Adolescent and Juvenile Court Services are responsible for assessing a family's need for services and providing ongoing services through voluntary and court ordered plans for children in need of protection.
