Program/Service Description:
The US Department of Justice provides information and assistance about the Americans with Disabilities Act. This service permits businesses, state and local governments, or others to ask questions about general or specific ADA requirements including questions about the ADA Standards for Design. Specialists are available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9:30am to 5:30pm; Thursday from 12:30pm to 5:30pm. All times are Eastern Standard Time. Free materials are also available for order. This service assures that the rights of people with a developmental disability/physical disability are recognized by businesses, state and local governments and others.
