Program/Service Description:
This is a peer support group for adults, age 18 and older, with a developmental disability. The intention is to provide a consumer-directed informational and social outlet for individuals in a safe and structured environment. The focus is to educate participants about abuse and other safety issues and to provide resources in education, prevention, and accessibility. The group meets at the Aging & Disability Resource Center on the second Wednesday of each month from 4:30pm to 6:00pm. We ask that participants RSVP for each session.
