Program/Service Description:
An Elderly Benefit Specialist helps older adults who are seeking information and/or assistance in obtaining private or government benefits. They help people age 60 and older explore benefits they may be entitled to and explain the process to receive those benefits. They address questions on Medicare options, Medicaid, prescription drug assistance, SeniorCare, Social Security benefits, consumer issues, benefit appeals and denials, and other financial assistance related issues.
