IBM Grant

Request for Proposal

The Brown County United Way is seeking applications from local human services agencies to receive one of two grants of computer equipment worth almost $5,000.

IBM Corporation will donate the equipment, along with $2,900 to the Brown County United Way, as part of the corporation’s nationwide charitable giving program.

Grant #1: Agency Grant Application for the Young Explorer System

Organizations that are part of a Headstart or state approved program may complete this application.

Grant #2: IBM Corporation 2007 Technology Donation Program

IBM Corporation seeks to improve information management, computer access and training for youth and the disadvantaged through its Technology Donation Program for charitable organizations. Through this grant, IBM will provide equipment to support efforts including:
• Youth education opportunities/Early learning
• Community and family services
• Adult services (Literacy Programs, Job Training)
• Support for the disabled/disadvantaged
• Youth development program

All eligible agencies must be a registered 501(c)(3) located in Brown County.
