KEN CIAK has been with Ameriprise Auto & Home Insurance and its predecessor company, Wisconsin Employers Group, since 1983, first serving as Senior Vice President and since 1989, as President.  He also serves as Chairman of the Board for IDS Property Casualty Insurance Company and AMEX Assurance Company.  He is a member of the Board of Directors for Viator Insurance Company, Stockholm, Sweden.

The company writes personal lines insurance for American Express Cardmembers, investment clients as well as other affinity/financial services’ groups not affiliated with American Express.  Additionally, the company writes a broad portfolio of travel and accident coverages for American Express Cardmembers.

Mr. Ciak started his career at Sentry Insurance in 1972.  He held a variety of positions in claims, marketing and underwriting and last served Sentry as the Vice President of Strategic Planning before joining American Express.

Mr. Ciak attended the Cranwell School, Boston College, University of Massachusetts/Amherst and New York University’s Graduate School of Business Administration
